Changing Your Sign

It may sound daunting, but if you want the truth about which of the ancient astrological archetypes were designed with you in mind--you'll probably have to change signs. The Universe has placed you in another Zodiac sign. Not just your Sun sign, your entire horoscope has to be recalculated.

Around one in five people stay the same Sun sign, moving to a different degree, but have other major changes in the birth horoscope. Many people find themselves instantly drawn to their "new" signs, like a long-awaited revelation. They never really identified with the old sign in the first place. However, it's easy to be bum-rushed into the wrong sign if you like the image, but it's still not you. You may have become attached to it by habit, fueling your skepticism about astrology in general.

Look out to the stars for confirmation of your real sign, that's where the proof is. Try it on for size, and see how it fits.

Read descriptions of your new sign with yourself in mind. Ask your friends or relatives about which sign they find more descriptive of your ways. Start the process here and click on your birthday.

Aries? No

Pisces: yes

Tropical Aries changes to 13-sign Pisces

Tough being an Aries? No wonder. True Pisces is an old soul and a diva with way too much empathy and perception. Inside a secret world, Pisces is in a reverie that expresses all human experience going back to the primordial fishes, and Pisces is the pool of sensuality and the bitter dregs of wretched excess. Of all human experience, (and they are great mimics of it) the Pisces most feels the sorrow and melancholia of those who are at the bottom of the food chain--and all helpless creatures. Pisces has ways to survive in a hostile ocean; quiet murmuration with the school to erode all boundaries to love; hide and find a safe personal hidey-hole; OR grow teeth and eat your enemies before they eat you.

Taurus? No

Aries: yes

Tropical Taurus changes to 13-sign ARIES

It's hard to believe you could be mistaken for a contented Taurus. True Aries can’t stand complacency, even if it’s comfortable, and would rather fight a bloody battle or butt heads. How could Aries, the life of the party, be trapped in a stagnant pond? Life is a never ending banquet of temptation to Aries. Aries is an explosion waiting to be ignited. Number One! Winning is everything, and losers are contemptible. Aries credo is simple: "only birth matters in life, only fighting for life is real, only the victorious life is remembered."

Gemini? No

Taurus: yes

Tropical Gemini changes to 13 sign Taurus

No matter what, you are who you are. Not a traveling troupe of players. True Taurus is turned on by food, sex and gold, and, most important, a beautiful home in which to enjoy all the above. There’s no downside to material things. Taurus is the love of the body, an appetite for all things pleasurable, sexual, permanent, and valuable. This is why Taurus is so sexy. And why many Taurus gain weight as they age. Taurus knows no god or magic; they only believe in the Earth, and like to stay close to it. They have no faith in nonprofitable entities, ideas, and people. You must have some substantive allure to attract a Taurus. Taurus will work for return of investment for the entire life, but if they lose track of what is valuable, they can become a compulsive hoarder.

Cancer? No

Gemini: yes

Tropical Cancer changes to 13 sign Gemini

It's not the Moon that is making you moody. It's just you changing from right to left brain. True Geminis live by asking questions, compiling information, searching the archives, reviewing childhood. Gemini lives a dramatic life inside their head. The Gemini is a mafia, not just one person. Most people don't get to meet them all. Luckily, life is a game, and Gemini can reshuffle the deck anytime they want. A merry go round of data; an archive that spans the entire life--and beyond. All experiences can be stored and replayed over and over again. The world is a giant university with no graduation and only boredom is death. Gemini will take any test rise to any challenge, and very often alienate their partners because the game itself becomes more stimulating than partnership. Gemini will forever be freaking people out with their quick change of characters.

Leo? No

Cancer: yes

Tropical Leo changes to 13 sign Cancer

You have a lot more intuition then the royal beast. You're always taking in invisible forces, on the lookout for love. True Cancer’s moods are so effected by the Moon that their heads change shape with its cycles. They also like to shine bright, and will change their image often to stay in the spotlight. Changing how people see you is as easy as wearing different hats. When it comes to leadership, Cancers want to rule by example, even if it’s all just an act. Their third eye tells them what to do. After the new Moon, it opens and Cancers can see the world as a stage, with them as the stars. When the full Moon occurs, Cancer's eye closes and leaves them in the dark to meditate and make intentions for the next New Moon.

Virgo? No

Leo: yes

Tropical Virgo changes to 13 sign Leo

Why would you ever think you could be anything but the cat? True Leo is the best and the worst of nature in the raw. Animals understand them better than humans, who want to imagine Leo with civilized, human characteristics. Animals will naturally respond to Leo like another animal. Cats will see her as another cat; as will dogs. Leo is ALWAYS a pack leader. Expect the savagery, sexuality and base instincts of the predator, since Leos only follow their own rules, and scare people into letting them alone.

These rules are made for and by the predator, whose only reason to live is to thin the herds, and make herbivores too frightened to eat the planet and everything on it. The Leo is our defense against what is unnatural, man-made and artificial. To keep this animal out of the Sun and make him wear clothes is sad. Luckily the grand ego of the Leo will carry on, throughout their nine lives, regardless of the danger, in a never ending quest to propel their DNA into the next generation.

Libra? No Virgo? Yes

Tropical Libra changes to 13 sign Virgo

The true Virgo springs from the masses. Since Virgo has the most people—with 45 days to procreate, they are the majority party, the proletariat, and, sometimes, the mob. Virgo's destiny is the journey of the Magi, following Spica, the bright blue star. This means they are always in flux; they're on a mission. The manifest destiny of the rest of us will be revealed by Virgo, since they gravitate towards improvement. Yet, what about the individual Virgo? Virgo changes shape as quickly as the anarchistic world forces them to reinvent and reinvest themselves.

It’s exasperating to their lovers, who find themselves despised if they fail to live up to the hype. Virgos are so mutable that they can change from solid into liquid, and liquid into plasma. They can be invisible. Virgos are like the neon light, when they're switched on, they light up our world. Virgos need to be plugged in to a more active force. Like all mutable signs, they often find tyrants to do the job they can't seem to do.

Adaptable! Adorable! Untenable! Benefiting from a critical eye, an ideology of service, and a crafty set of hands, Virgo can be all things to all people, but not blind to other's faults. One must assume that Virgo's life of contention is a reward for their constant criticism of others, and it shouldn't be a surprise to them. Chances are they give up the gift-giving as they get older, and concentrate on themselves and their pets.

Scorpio? No

Libra: yes

Tropical Scorpio changes to 13 sign Libra

Libra may be fascinated by both Virgo and Scorpio, because they both are a turn-on. But Libra is neither one. They are the best and worst of both signs. Libras are actually just as sexual as Scorpios but they can come on like missionaries. They are just as critical as Virgos, but they know when to hold their tongue. Libras win you over with charm and intelligence, and sometimes end up trying to flatter everyone, no matter how stupid or venal the person might be. The true Libra is the perfect spokesperson, the cover girl, the pitchman. They can see all sides of a decision and stay in the center. When they finally make a move, they are pretty sure how its going to go. They are also adaptable enough to change in midstream.

Libra is the newest sign, the jewel of the Roman Empire. The Romans separated the wheat from the chaff, master and slave. Libra was the machine that decided who was who. Yet Libra wants everyone to accept them, regardless of class. Why make an enemy and throw away a working relationship? Balancing people isn’t an emotional headache, it's easy, like using a computer to balance your books. It may be an artless task. This is why Libra's main objective is to find passion and release.

No wonder they need to blow off steam. The life's work of this sign is to be perfect, or to be around winners. The primary element that sets them apart from others is that they thrive on the see-saw. Libras stay balanced--in the middle--and change sides, with ease and distinction. This is why they are the Zodiac's only machine—the scales. The Romans had a goddess of justice holding the scales to represent Libra, but maybe it is the claws taken from the Scorpion. This sign is the least likely to accept an astrological archetype, instead wanting the right to think it through before they have to decide.

Sagittarius? No

Scorpio: yes

Tropical Sagittarius changes to 13 sign Scorpio

True Scorpio thinks of Sagittarius as the grasshopper with winter on its way. Shrewd Scorpio knows, like the ant, that only numbers count in war. With only six days to reproduce, the true Scorpio is designed for war, and are often wounded in their youthful power struggles.

The only enemy that Scorpio can't fight is their own emotions. Like seething underground lava, the Scorpio is unable to stop the flow, only mask it for a time. It's a matter of time before it comes to the surface. Yet Scorpios survive to fight another day, this is their strength. Without a head, they can only sting. When they take the offensive, they drive their enemies before them—sinking their blade into the secrets and the weaknesses of the less determined. Drawing violence to them, the Scorpio learns to live with it, even enjoy it. Scorpio learns quickly that the truth is the deadliest of all weapons, and will use it as they would any other weapon.

Ophiuchus, the Secret Sign

Ophiuchus are born into a world where they feel like a hunted animal. Women Ophiuchus, whenever they raise their heads and show their power, are persecuted by the same patriarchy that murdered their mothers, grandmothers, great-great grandmothers and the goddesses from which they sprang.

Male Ophiuchus are shamanic as well, and sometimes disguise themselves as women. The symbol of Ophiuchus is a woman snake-handler. The Greeks made her a man, and the Romans made her into a prostitute. The male system finds strong women repulsive, like the Gorgon Medusa, and will have her killed on sight, no mercy.

Yet Ophiuchus has the power over life itself, and this goes back way before the Romans, to her Egyptian sisters, Isis and Nephthys, who between them brought Osiris back from the dead and gave him a golden penis.

Capricorn? No

Sagittarius: yes

Tropical Capricorn changes to 13 sign Sagittarius

Why would the True Sagittarius want to work as hard as a Capricorn, and take so long to get noticed? Sagittarians are heroes, and their glorious sacrifice gets them fame and fortune. They hold the power of both the genius and the beast. It's hard to believe that they can be in such opposition and also achieve harmony, because it's not true. Sagittarius is exaggerating.

Yet Sagittarian strength and intelligence is quite inspirational, they are capable of heroism, even if it's only in their own imaginations. The aim of the fire horse is to die for a glorious cause; and be remembered as a god. It could be a great contribution to society, if not wasted. When Sagittarius gains the true higher knowledge, finds the cause worth the sacrifice, they will be appreciated. If not, Sagittarius will light the fire themselves.

Aquarius? No

Capricorn: yes

Tropical Aquarius changes to 13 sign Capricorn

True Capricorns wouldn't normally even associate with Aquarians, unless they held access to power. True Capricorn doesn't understand hunches and risks. It takes the methodical climb of the sea goat to get to the top; pain before gain, patience before impulse, less is more, unless it has to do with money—and that’s serious business. Capricorn wants whatever coin of the realm he needs for control over his own, and eventually, others' existence.

This is the sign of the boss, since authority is what they know best. They ultimately find it or have thrust upon them. The Capricorn is the rock of Gibraltar; they do not bend, since the Capricorn backbone is trusted with the load, a thankless task. Is the real aim of the Capricorn to rule the world, or do they just do everything better than anyone else? There's a sadness in the voice of command. There's an echo of loneliness and self-denial. Capricorn expects everyone to look into the void, as they do, and when that doesn't happen, they feel cheated.

Pisces? No

Aquarius: yes

Tropical Pisces changes to 13-sign Aquarius

The Pisces is part of and prisoner of the ocean of emotions. The true Aquarius can fly away like a bird. Aquarius is an agitator. If you invite the Aquarius in your life: welcome to the revolution! Stubborn yet curious, Aquarius says: freedom or death! Like radical change itself, true Aquarius is hard to predict, hard to control and hard to organize. Aquarius may be odd or eccentric, a cover to disguise how vulnerable they are. They figure that if they keep showering people with love, they are safe from capture and conventional wisdom.

Their symbol is the water-bearer, Aquarians thirst for pure, abstract knowledge even if it won't work in reality, and are willing to resist the system, living outside the norm, even outside the law, and off the grid. The Aquarius has the ancestral memory of slavery and humiliation, and this will never happen again to them if they can help it. Aquarius's emotional pool is the air we breathe, and it is the source of all Aquarian faith and woe. Like a talisman of the future, Aquarians can't wait around for the Earth-bound pedestrians to keep up. Friendships keeps the Aquarian coming back for more. Anything else smacks of commitment. At the whiff of containment, the Aquarius takes to the skies and migrates to a better climate.

Ophiuchus (oh-few-kuss)

map from Capricorn-Prometheus

Can you find Ophiuchus center stage, vaulting over the ecliptic?

You can't miss her tail on the Zodiacal plane, like a snake sunning itself on the road. She's on her way to meet Hercules, her male equivalent. Ophiuchus is the female power that was suppressed by astrologers in 100 ACE and she and her coven have been the subject of the largest and longest genocide in history. The war on strong women has never let up. Read on to see how this heroic and erotic female has been supplanted with a patriarchy in astrology since the Roman Empire.

What is your true sign?

Don't be surprised that your birthday no longer falls in the sign you've grown up with. Astrologers gave you the wrong sign, at least the wrong degree. 80 percent of people think they're the wrong sign. Look at the skies yourself, and you'll see the problem. The Sun, Moon and the planets are not where astrologers say, not even close! Mainstream "tropical" astrology is wildly inaccurate and the laughing stock of science and astronomy. How to change your sign
Proof of the veracity of 13 signs

Most Western astrologers use an obsolete, 1800-year-old system that ignores the Earth's precession of the equinoxes and is off by almost 30 degrees. This is the fatal blow to tropical astrology. Science and the rest of the world abandoned the tropical view of the universe 600 years ago. Tropical astrology gets the signs wrong. They are a sign ahead of what is true. If you want the truth, you have to consult 13-sign astrology, the same view of space that NASA and astronomers routinely use to ascertain the correct planetary and sign positions. You want proof? Click to Telescope, or get one yourself and check the night sky!

Science and Astrology

How important is accuracy? Astrology, like astronomy, is based on degree, and only works with the correct degree. Astrologers must have an astronomically accurate map to interpret a horoscope correctly. How can tropical astrologers use bogus numbers in their horoscopes? It's pure hubris and subterfuge.

Only the correct chart, showing the true signs of the planets and luminaries, can help us interpret them in any meaningful way. The system you use to apply the ancient traditional symbols must correlate to the real sky, or what's the point? The astrological view must conform to the actual astronomy for the astrology to work. Astrology was designed thousands of years ago as the greatest sociological study ever attempted! Why are we adding bad data to the pool?

Your Blueprint for Life

Ready to meet the real you? Find out what a real astrology can do! The real horoscope is the map of the skies at the moment of your birth and your location. Only an astronomically accurate chart shows the correct degrees and signs of the Moon, Sun, and all your planets and asteroids.

Only the 13 sign astrology degrees are accurate, which is why it strikes the mark every time.
